Making the link to this board/forum a different color

I was thinking that if you make the link to this forum a different color on the GC site that it may get noticed more and maybe get more people to come here.

I posted a link in my profile to this place so when someone reads my profile they will see it and maybe/hopefully they will come here.
Some of them may not realize this forum is here.

Besides making the button to the link stand out more, what about putting a link to it on the blue menu bar area? Because I have a feeling that people with smaller screens may not see the forum link and never scroll down far enough to see the link.

I think the suggestions in this thread are a good idea, once it gets its own tab or whatever maybe also get the admin to message every user on the site notifying them of the forums? Sort of like a newsletter type thing.
