About the chat window

Did anyone notice that there is something wrong with the chat window?
when we are chatting the contents been cleard every now and then
that's because when we are inputting letters and BACK SPACE the words, AT THE SAME TIME, the information of your friend reached you and of course appeared in the chat-box, so the cursor shifted to the upper part of the chat-box correspondingly. And then the previously contents been cleared.

Can't this been corrected? Just keep the cursor staying at the input-part.

What's wrong with the chat window is the CHAT WINDOW. There doesn't seem to be a setting that allows me to block the chat, and so I have to block pop-ups, which gives you this silly and annoying dialog box that lets you know that someone TRIED to get through. Specifying NO CHAT WITHOUT PERMISSION on your profile does NO GOOD. First you would have to know how to READ or CARE to do so. Can we PLEASE be provided with a setting to block chat windows? Thanks!

If you want to block the chat window all you have to do is click on "appear offline" in the left hand column after you log in. That's what I always do and no one can send me a chat that way. Good luck!

You can also go to the privacy settings in your browser to not allow popups for this particular site (address). It won't affect anything else, it'll block this site popups only.

The chat window progressively uses up more and more RAM ... I'm not sure why this is...
