Too Many Dead Profiles

I"ve browsed through pics numbers of times and I have come across the same person a few times that hasn't logged into their page in months and months.

think that's bad? You should see the number of guys that make a profile and then never ever log in again. Talk about dead profiles I did a search for guys in my area and out of about 100 or so profiles only about 15 are actively current and most of those are not serious about meeting. Hope you have much better luck!

yeah, I think the dead profiles should be deleted after a certain amount of time.

Yeah. You get that with a lot of sites, including the big ones like MySpace. I think admin doesn't want to delete them because then they can't claim they have a certain amount of numbers, but I'd rather visit a site with 200 active members than a site with 1,000 inactive ones. It should be deleted after six months without logging in.

I am also annoyed with the number of dead profiles. If someone was here before, but now they're gone, that means they aren't here; and if they aren't here, they should be deleted.

I agree with bluesize. If they arent active after a certain period of time - purge the inactive files and delete them.

But, how long is considered dead? A seemingly dead profile could become active again when someone interested sends a message...

We will think long and hard about this issue and come up with a solution. May be we could move inactive profiles into a separate search category, e.g. inactive for over 1 month?
