I believe in the reason for the season...

I believe in Jesus is the reason for the season, But Santa was invented for small children that do not yet understand the concept of what the festivities are really about, they learn as they grow as long as the parents instruct them. I believe also that Christmas it way to commercialized, showing each other our love on one day of the year is not what it is all about.

But alas, a good number of people have forgotten about that.

You know the people from the ancient was celebrating those day's but not for jesus or something but for the sun "the son and god of our universe"..Jesus and etc are creation from the Christian's our other religions but in some fact's is relating with the ancient believes!!Santa was creation from coca cola, was the creation of something to relating with christmas, the guy who made the picture was by his own self.. He was a drunk stinky fat guy who was carring the x-mas gift's..

Well....Bah Humbug, you are a real cynical downer aren't you? Don't believe in Christianity is fine with me, but please don't rip my beliefs apart because you think they are not worthy. They are mine, and I will defend them. P.S. most Christians also know Jesus was born sometime in March rather than December, but we started celebrating His birth on a Pagan holiday. As far as Cocoa Cola Santa, there has been a Santa way before Coca Cola, he was called Kris Kringle, or Saint Nicolas long before the invention of Coke.

I don't have to say anything about your believes..And i am sure you are going to defend them, is good for you to believe and to defend your believes..But for some things you have to be more open because we don't have enough informations..

Also for the Kris Kringle we don't have anything here in Greece..We had the Nicolaos as the Germans has santa claus and the chinese has someone else but i think is an urban legend who we are created to feel very fine about christmas.."don't rip my beliefs apart because you think they are not worthy" oh!my god what kind of creep you think i am?I just telling my opinion..

^^^ for me the very important thing is the time of giving and sharing. This makes me proud to be christian. When I was a young boy, I always question the dates, I just want to be specific. Then I learned out thats sometimes its doesnt really matter if december 25 is the real date of birth of Jesus Christ, as long as it was celebrated in a good fashion. About santa clause, yes its an urban legend, but Santa clause is a good role model for kids, better than batman, superman and other comic hero.
