Hon you just have to see whats there... If she likes you, SHE Will let you know, somehow, maybe with her eyes, or the way she touches your arm or gives you an opportunity to touch her in a polite but friendly way.

Remember, she may like you but not be sure you would be open to it... Been there myself. He actually TEASED me for weeks about liking other girls because I REFUSED to admit it bothered me because I liked him, not that I'm suggesting you do that, but these things happen when 2 people aren't open and fearless.

@Youngscaredboy, I believe the most important question is 'when to ask', and not 'how to ask'. Of course, I barely know the position you are in, but in my own opinion, the time is more importantly. I think it's rude for you just to walk to a woman and say I'd like to date you (I'm including which ever fancy way you decided to put it). How long have you known her? How well can you interpret her feelings? Can you tell if there is a chance on earth that she'll date you? Most of the communications between humans (especially prospective lovers ) are NOT verbal. Just get close to her a little more and decide for yourself if she can/will date you!
