Default Am I ACTUALLY A Cougar??? HELP!!!

I never thought I'd be here lol...My question is this....Is a 32 year old man and a 45 year old women considered a Cougar Relationship???

He approached me, wooed me...asked me out and now I am going to see him. I have never been interested in younger men and I am having a semi-tough time with it....I would just LOVE some feedback from you guys here. I really like the guy, but feeling a little like a horny old woman...lol

Hello Kellyann,

I'm not sure what the "requirements" are to be a cougar, or if that title is somthing you do, or don't want. I'd go with what you feel for this man. If you have some things in common, and are attracted to each other, then why not see where it goes. Relationships are supposed to be about happiness, not stress.

I don't think that qualifies you as a cougar. A cougar is someone who goes after a younger guy so if you hit on him a lot and wooed him then it'd be different, but since he asked you out I don't think it counts.

Hi Kelly,

Do you like "feeling a little like a horny old woman". And when you try to answer that question don't think about what other people say. It's your life, live it for yourself not for others.

Take care.

Well since you asked for opinions, I will give you mine. hehe (I am 42)
I don't really consider dating guys in their 30's being a cougar, cuz I see guys at that age as MEN not boys! But whenever I hear the term "cougar" I really associate it with women dating only guys whom are in their twenties. And...since I have dated 5 guys in their twenties over the last few years, I would consider myself a cougar! But I am hoping that my current 14 month relationship with my 23 yr old will be my last. We are now living together and in love!
But...this is just my opinion. : )

at 32 / 45 I don't think so. I think at 45, you'd be a cougar if you were chasing college guys. Just my .02

I'd always heard it was dating someone who (biologically age-wise) could be your son--so 17-25 years or more younger.
