I wrote a few words in my private forum to thank the ladies there, but I decided to write something publicly to show my appreciation to GoCougar's Admin.....

It seems that we always hear about the negative stuff on this site, through blogs and forum posts, and that's no reflection on the members, especially the ones who I consider my friends. You've done a good thing....exposing the "bad guys", to protect anyone else who might fall prey to their lies and scams.

Call it a stroke of luck, fate stepping in, or just old fashioned faith....but I've found my "cub"...ugh, he actually LIKES that term. LOL Anyway, I just wanted to give special thanks to Admin for providing a site that made it all possible. How else could I meet my soulmate in North Carolina, when I live in Los Angeles?

And for those of you who are thinking, "Oh boy, we've heard this one before!"...I don't blame you. In fact, I've been mulling this over in my head for weeks now. But when Joe let me know that he deleted his profile, I've felt strange about my presence here. Those of you who want to keep contact with me can always follow me through Yahoo messenger. I know I'm gonna get a bunch of "I told you so's", but I have to say something. Joe broke up with me by EMAIL on February 28th, the day before I was to fly out to finally meet him. He said he got deployed again, and that could be true. I've done my research on him, and I know that there is indeed a Sgt 1st class US Army with the name he gave me, and that person has a twin brother in a neighboring state (I've seen a photo)

There was NO CLUE WHATSOEVER that he would pull the plug so suddenly. He had disappointed me on 2 other occasions, even ruining my birthday with the promise to fly out to L.A. for that. But he begged me to stay with him, and continued calling me 2-3 times a day, with chat and texting in between. This went on for 4 months.

But in his email, he told me that he didn't have the money for the tickets after all. Really? Do you know how much someone of his rank makes? He makes over 70K with his housing allowance. It was supposed to be my birthday present to fly out to spend 5 days with him before he shipped out for the 4th time. When I asked him for the itinerary, he just kept putting me off, saying he was tired and would do it the next day. He could not even break up over the phone...I got a stinking EMAIL!

BTW ladies....if you check out Joemusic80 and Joeboxers1980, you'll see it's the same person, and that BOTH of the accounts were logged into 3 months ago.....which is when he told me that he deleted his account. So maybe I've kept him busy all this time, but unless it's a case of the player falling in love, he'll be back.

I'm glad I found this stuff out....now I can move on.

P.S. It looks like Admin has removed Joeboxers1980. ;-)

That sucks, sorry you had to deal with such a child. Trust me, military doesn't mean they made a man out of him as you can easily tell.

EDIT: I gotta say it, you should have gone with a Marine.

I met a few Marines last May shortly before Memorial Day weekend and their deployment. I met one of them and later politely texted Happy Memorial Day.
Instead, I got an image of his full erection., instead of an arranged date.
Ignoring my other pictures he kept begging me for "other " pictures.

Who else is the child? Warriors are only made. Men are only born.
An issued uniform does not guarantee any maturity at all.

These boys really need to think before they send images of their flag poles electronically. LOL

Very true, but as one I'll make a plug for my branch anytime I can. Because there's a lot of them out there like that, but then you come across ones like myself who make you forget about all the bad ones.
