Thanks for the male perspective. Things are getting more serious by the day with my boyfriend and he told me today that he will tell his family and friends more about me soon....I really like him and don't want to force the issue too much and have the relationship end prematurely.

Great perspective Jet. Nice to hear the man's point of view and happy to see that you are in a relationship with an older woman and giving a bit of insight. Whatever your reason for being here, it's nice to get another opinion of those that are there or been there.

He met my kids twice, once at my request to help me get blood drawn for my daughter (who has special needs) and the other time was yesterday. He came over since he was off of work and hung out with me and my kids for a few hours. My kids at this point think we are just friends and I am not ready for them to think otherwise until he introduces me to some of his friends and/or family. He says that this will happen soon so I am not pushing it. He does go out with me and my friends sometimes and says he likes it so that is what we are doing tonight. Tomorrow we are having a regular date alone including going out to the movies, me cooking him dinner and a sleepover at my place (my kids are going away for the weekend with their dad). Things are so nice now that I am willing to go along like this but told him yesterday I won't be forever without him letting me into his inner circle of friends and family....

Thank you. I'm here to try and help people find and maintain a relationship and I'm open to advice from others about my own. If I can get my girlfriend to sign up that would be great.

Seems like things are going well for you two. There's nothing wrong with a slow progression. My girlfriend has two kids,as well. I didn't meet them until she thought it would ok to do so. I hit it off with her son, but her daughter is pretty shy. All in time they say.

Just an update on my situation....my boyfriend said he loves me in person last night. It was so wonderful to hear. Did I mention he is a very shy guy? That is why I think things have progressed slowly thus far. He is turning 28 tomorrow so we are going out for his birthday......
