Being realistic

As a guy of 33, I'm curious to know of all does age matter? I mean yes for all serious on here obviously it doesnt ..to a certain extent?..But being realistic does it and should it, within reason? Honestly can a relationship work with say a 20 year age difference..?...Personally If your grounded and ready to settle down I think it can. But I was interested to know what people think and it works both ways older girls/younger guys?

I had one that worked for 7yrs with a 30yrs age gap. I think it all depends on the people and what they look for. Age is not like it used to be. People are taking better care of themselves, attitudes are different, and older women/younger men relationships are being accepted. Age is a matter of the mind/if you don't mind it doesn't matter.

Good points..and I agree as someone that pays no heed on age or anything else...but being realistic should we? Unfortunately peer pressure can come into things and yes/maybe it should'nt but it does. For example..Would you/do you care what friends/public think? When they question you on age or perception?

I think those are questions that can only be answered by the person going into the relationship with a wide age gap. As Lynda said it did not bother her and for 7 years made it work, so it can be done.

I personally do not care what the public thinks and for my friends and family all they want for me is to be happy. If that bothers the guy then I need to run as far and as fast as possible.

I think the point is it's about two people.....and what matters is how they feel about each other....friends and family should just want what makes them happy if they have a problem with it the same as the general public....then it is their problem to deal with. I f I love someone.....it's with all of me I won't hide it, I would be proud to be with that person no matter what anyone thought....

I'm pretty sure Ashton Kutcher doesn't have a problem being seen with Demi moore....of course I could be wrong lol
