It seems to me that the forums have become an arena of dislike....distrust and constant challenge. In life we will never get on with everybody.....world peace is a long way off.......but as adults it would be nice if we could turn the other cheek....and at least tolerate difference, and embrace individuality. If we are going to "discuss" then lets do just that and not interject with pointy sticks to dig at the nearest opponent.....Am I the only one who would like to see peace return to the forums......

Laine that was just so profound and well said; thank you for creating this thread. I would love to see the forum take on a calm and stop the gouging every opportunity some seem to do. I would love to see new people come on and enjoy the forum as it should be. We are all different and bring different things to the table so it does make for interesting talk but agree to disagree.

So would I Lynda & Lanie, so would I & I'm sure so would wetnwild. I doubt it (call me a skeptic) & hope I am dead wrong. Peace & tranquility would be very nice to see & read on here. There are people who just seem to get off on upsetting others every where in this world. Basically I'm a LOVER not a FIGHTER but if someone comes @ me you can best believe I will defend myself. I call for a truce among all the GC participants male & female alike. Let's see if this can & will happen (crossing my fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes & anything I can cross)

I am in agreement, I would like to see us discuss thing without fear of retaliation just because another posted doesn't like us. Can't we just post our feelings and beliefs about a common subject without having it picked apart and have an accusing finger thrust into our faces? I often sit here and wonder if we were all sitting in the same room facing each other if these kinds of antics would go on?

This is the same character of people that would steal in a department store if no one was watching, or commit a crime if they were certain not to be caught, trust me!

I don't believe we can't make it work...i just believe we have to WANT to....I've been in a lot of pain today I had a quartazone steroid injection in the muscle at the top of my leg...serious pain!!! and so I've spent a lot of tonight with a couple of friends who came round to cook for me and make sure I had what I needed....What I've noticed checking in on the forum is that the most posted on threads are the ones which people argue in...sadly people appear to relish conflict..myself included...it seems people find that more exhilarating.....who knows but it's an interesting observation....Thank you lovely ladies for at least WANTING to.....
