Guys, why are we attracted to older women?

This has been raised before because there have been at times on here young men who are looking for perhaps something that is rather akin to a mother figure - or at least a school teacher: maybe the 'sitting down and shutting up' brings that to mind! Some women of course enjoy that aspect of a relationship with a younger man, others will feel they fulfilled that role with their children and hope to have a more equal relationship with shared giving and receiving of knowledge at all levels.

I, personally, identify with the desire of receiving and giving knowledge when I've been in a relationship with an older woman. I would feel odd If I had nothing of intellectual value to contribute to the relationship.

I love learning about music, literature, art so that's one of the big attractions of knowing men from another generation: they have a closer knowledge of contemporary cultural things that I haven't been exposed to. It's a huge contribution!

For me I like the calmness, the intelligence and class that is more common with mature women than with younger women. Not always the case I know but generally speaking it is true.

Its because we know what we want, we know how to get it, we dont fake org---s if you dont deliver we let you know and dont say `oh you were wonderfull darling`.
But most of all its confidence,, and that comes with maturity.....
