I think it still exists in various forms. For some men and women they just want the sex and then say goodbye. I guess that is ok if both sides are aware of what is happening.

I don't like people who play games and make the other person feel like "something" (apart from sex) is going to happen when it isn't.

For me if I am with a woman and there is a mutual attraction and respect and we want to have sex but not a relationship then that is fine and it's nice afterwards to hang out and watch tv etc. Maybe that sounds weird but I don't like the coldness of "wham bam thank you ma'am".

Sex is overrated anyways. I mean, if you truly connect with the person on an emotional level it can be great. Typically, NSA sex is going to be terrible, least in my opinion.

depends on who its with, i'll sleep with friends, but i dont think thats exactly classified as NSA.

I think Sex and what you want from it is from your soul. Some people just want sex, NSA the feel good feeling while it lasts and then on their way. Some people want an emotional tie, sex was great want to do it again another time, and some just want to give their soul and get the the others in return life a life time commitment. It all depends on what the two people involved are looking for. It can be like sliding down a 50 foot razor blade backwards.

I came out of a really ugly, abusive 14 yr relationship (he was 7 yrs older).
