I've been trying online dating for years, the truth is you'll only ever get a handful of responses because women tend to get so much interest compared to men anyway. Like folks say, just keep at it.

Dude, it only gets as old as the women on this site, and, you know old is never too old on this site. Just be patient and don't give up. The key word is patience. Remember you're an American, from Massachusetts, where freedom practically was born, so you that means you've got a reputation to uphold. If we Americans gave up easily, we'd still be under British rule(no offense, against our friends the Brits). So, just hang in there. I'm a 7 year U.S. Air Force vet, so I know.

That's very true, also location is a factor. No disrespect to any Aussies out there, but if you've lead a sheltered life you're more likely not to be as streetwise, broadminded or "mature" as for example London guys, so in my book a 25 year old Aussie guy is about the same as an 18 year old London guy.

That's true! Some women can mature faster! And some men at 40 look like and behave like kids (and that's not funny!) whereas some men in their 20s or 30s are more mature! And have more respect for a woman! Strange things happen sometimes!
