Hypocrisy

"Age is just a number" when it applies to ME, of course... but when same age/older guys contact me I blow them off (not like THAT - get your minds out of the gutter - ha!) because they're - well, older.

Is anyone else troubled by this kind of hypocrisy?

Luna, I do the same cause same age or older is not my preference. I have nothing to say to the guys and better not to respond than get something stirred up when you tell them they are to old. These older guys just can not grasp why we would not be interested in them...MALE EGO

Heard from a guy older then me, that said the younger guys only want us for our money...lol..what money? then he said age is just a number..made me laugh because he was looking at it like I was the younger one....they can't stand that we want someone younger..like we haven't been putting up with them wanting younger women for years..

Am I troubled by the hypocrisy? No, not at all. The reason I am not troubled by it is because I signed onto a COUGAR site for a very specific reason. I am not leading anyone on by what am I looking for. I even specifically state in my profile what my age preference is (guys in their 20's) but we all know most guys don't bother to read profiles.

When guys my age or older email me on here I tell them that this is a COUGAR site and that I am not interested in them. I told one guy (my age) that yesterday and then he emails me again today, saying something about we should not let the distance between us be a problem. Um, I never said anything about distance, but there was apparently too much distance between his EARS so I blocked him.

And Lynda, you are SO right about their little male egos. I have had some tell me what wonderful lovers they are, how much experience they have, etc, etc. I just want to say WHO THE F CARES?!?!?! Not me, for sure!

hmmm y'know I've dated women older, younger, same age, taller, shorter, same height and had good experiences so I think I'm flexible (or perhaps good at finding out the cool things about people?). Hmm "preference" - is that an absolute thing... why not say "exclusive"? That is much more definite I think.

That is a good point sealion, but in my case it's not really an absolute. My PREFERENCE is guys in their 20's but I might consider guys in their very early 30's, depending on the guy. So it's not an exclusive. But guys my age or older? No how, no way, not happening!!

No it doesn't say that, but it shouldn't have to. Again, this is a COUGAR site, lol!!

Or as my younger friends would say....my age or older = HELL TO THE NO!! Haha!

After someones money? Are they freaking crazy or stupid? I pay my own way. I do not need a sugar mama. I am legitimately attracted to older ladies.
