Cougars & Cubs aside, I don't think there are many men out there who start dating someone with the agenda of entering a committed relationship. I think it's just something that happens as feelings evolve. "Strings" remind me of a puppet....and who would want to be that?

That's not true at all Paul. I'd say there are more of us who prefer their guys to be UNDER 30 than over. The only reason I can possibly see for the preference of which you speak is that most of those women are seeking a committed relationship, and most 20-something guys are just looking for a temporary fix until they're ready to make a family. Having been in a few extreme age gap relationships, I speak from experience. To say that our ages had nothing to do with the breakup would be denial. Since I don't want to date guys over 30, unless Matthew McConaughey suddenly falls madly in love with me....LOL....then I have to say that you need to keep searching because your results thus far are not representative of what the majority of women on this site are about.
