hahaha like Harold (19) and Maude (79), but when they fall in love it's credible (I read that the director wanted to include a more explicit lovemaking scene in the film but realized it wouldn't be accepted by audiences).

| I think
there are a few issues at play here. One being the huge age gap, another being who the woman is and yet another the faith each of us has in the power of love. I'm sure there are a few more but for now I'll just comment on those. I believe that the heart has no logic it loves who it loves and that is all there is to it. Since, I also believe that we either continue to return again and again (our soul per se) or, that we may be living our lives in more than one dimension then it is infinitely possible that we continue to return to the same "loves" again and again. Since we have no way of knowing when and where these "loves" are or when they left and were returned we only meet them when our lives collide. Call me a hopeless romantic but, I know that some of you have met someone whom it feels as if you have always known or loved as if it were destiny... well, I believe it is destiny therefore it would only be logical that you would not always be the same age. That addresses two issues at once now, as far as Betty White is concerned that's not the first person I've heard say that they think she's attractive. There's a DJ here in Houston that just adores her and even calls her on the radio sometimes.  |

 WELL SAID Houston!! I feel the same and who are we to judge the age gap because it does not fit our thinking. Betty White is one of the most alive people that I have ever seen and I would hope to be able when reaching that age I can be that sassy and not sitting in some nursing home looking at my knees.  Luna, I loved Harold and Maude, it was ahead of its time.

I have a hard time thinking of Betty White as "sexy". Even when I was much younger I always thought of her as being "older than dirt" lol. But if we start judging the "age gap" issue aren't we then judging ourselves also? Who among us can say how big of an age gap is "too wide"?  |
