I would say A. Somebody with a sense of purpose and planning is way more attractive than the alternative.

People both plan and do things at the last minute without the negative insinuations implied in both questions. I do both and I have good reason to do both at the point I do them..it's not about being selfish or destructive. The key is to communicate and explain so there are no negative suppositions for the other person to jump to. Or, rather, if there is, then it's not to do with you but to do with the lack of trust in the other person.

I think they're just going on what's most un/comfortable - spontaneity or planning ahead - and ignoring the weighted and subjective undesirables.
