Need help on Valentine's Day gift ideas

Before it is brought up, I know Valentine's Day is still a month away BUT they already have everything set up for Valentine's Day inside every store from Best Buy to Wal Mart.

It got me to thinking...what would be considered a meaningful Valentine's gift? Sure you have the classic "flowers and candy" combination but now there are stuffed animals, too. If you get too much, would that be considered as dishonest? Or can you even go too far?

Being as this is my first relationship that has included Valentine's Day in it's duration (actually my first relationship period ), I'm overwhelmed and confused as to what to do and/or get. Any pointers or helpful tips...short of just wrapping myself up with a big bow?

Personally I LOVE that idea, right there!! And my goodness, you really are too good to be true!! Miz sure is one lucky lady!!

Anyway, my take on V-Day gifts is this....get something that comes from your HEART. To me, the whole flowers and candy thing is cheesy and means absolutely nothing. That's because it is so "expected" and requires NO thought or imagination at all. I would much rather have something, no matter how small, that truly came from my guy's heart. And while I don't think you can over-do it, it's about QUALITY, not QUANTITY.

It could be simple (a massage) or elaborate (a weekend getaway) - in any case, to my mind the best gift is spending time doing something memorable together.

NOTE: it's impressive that you're already thinking about V-day

I consider myself very lucky to have his heart And such a smart one too, asking women what to do for Vday instead of guys! Could you imagine the horrible ideas that other guys would give? I shudder even to think...

I haven't found the perfect gift either, but I'll know it when I see it! Or that bow thing sounds rather good, but all in good time

A nice romantic dinner....candy and a stuff animal is always my favorite...whatever you decide, though, she will love it..

Dinner at some place where you have entertainment. Like that chucky cheese place. That place was awesome.

lol chucky cheese.Anyways I would have a romantic night out like watching a movie,going to eat,ice skating,just something relaxing.Then when we come back I would give her a massage,make a kewl bubble bath,or like watch tv and cuddle or something and cater to her. ;D Of course I'd also be complimenting her and reminding how much she means to me also xD.
