LTR is a very overused term -- do you have same cultural understanding and are separated for a specific time or reason, or is this someone you've met online in another country who does not have cultural understanding of your background? If 100 miles, then yes, consider it (but pay for gas and lodging and do a google check on their name), if 200 miles or more, GET YOUR GUARD UP BIGTIME.
