am curious as to what he has to say too since a lot of younger guys seem to think that all they have to be is young and lean with a six pack or some don't even have that to offer but they want you to fall or fawn all over them.

I think it has to do alot with the way you approach a cougar (lad/woman/female). You can't speak to them like a 18 year old female, you have to approach them with a little more class.
