Need Insight

This 45 year old cougar was lucky enough to find a 21 year old kind, caring, loving cub. My kids range in age from 10-22, and we're both having issues with things.

He is afraid that my kids won't accept him as a male role model/partner to mom thing (if it ever gets to that), and I'm afraid his parents are going to draw and quarter me for corrupting their kid.

Now, if my 22 year old came to me saying that he was in love with a 40 year old woman, I have no idea what I would say, which is probably where my problem lies.

So, for you fellow cougars that have older kids, have you ever had to deal with these problems, and how did they turn out? I'm not in a position to tell my kids the extent of my relationship with my cub, due to the fact that I am still technically married, so we're just friends that talk A LOT.

I'm a 22 year old, and I've seen a few women in their forties.

Best idea is to not get too involved!

Be friends, go on dates, and you know, do the deed if you want. I suggest keeping your distance a bit, and keeping it kind of to yourself. Things would get incredibly messy between you and yours.
