When I meet up tomorrow with my yoga teaching, not yet but hopefully soon to be gf, who also happens to be be a Buddhist, I'll ask her if she can make an offering asking for a good outcome. As far as I'm aware of, Buddhists need to make offerings asking for things. But I'm not sure if its only for themselves or if they can ask things for other people as well...
