Funny discussions that make you think of your age

I am in a relationship with my boyfriend of four years. He is 35 and I'm 25.

So we discuss things that we did when we were "younger" for example I say "I used to go to nightclubs when I was 19."

My darling boyfriend goes "Back in 1992 I used to go to Raves. I was addicted to raves they were the best time and I looked forward to them every week."

I look at him and say "In 1992, the thing I looked forward to on a weekly basis was Brownies." (Similar to girl scouts)

It makes him think.

The other night we watched a show and a segment discussed this elderly man who might have discovered a way to stay 20 years younger.

Boyfriend pipes up "If it aged me 20 years I would be a pedophile."

I looked at him and said "Why say that?"

Giving a stright answer "Well I am sleeping with you and if you had it too then you would be 5. Hence a pedophile. I would be 15 and you would be 5."

Hmmmmm. lol.

I think you are an older man who is peeved that some of us better-looking, got-it-more-together-than-the-average older man, are dipping our hands into the "sweet young thing" pot.

Here's a funny one: for years young women offered themselves up to older men in trade for financial security, they (I, we) put aside lust and passion because they didn't have the confidence that they could make something of themselves without their help. So sad, young and beautiful and sexually undermatched. Then something happened and they realized that they could get everything they needed in life on their own, and on their own terms. With that freedom came a very wide dating age range in which to choose from and the choice is based on looks, energy, vibe, enthusiatic love of life, sex drive and an extreme interest in the opposite sex. Sadly, most men my own age fail in comparison to my own joy of life and the old guys really fail when compared to younger men.

The a-ha moments happen when we continuously discover how many things we have in common and how much we really are into each other.

If you are female and 25, with a 35 year old boyfriend; based on your thread, you are here to start sh*t. Good luck to you when some of the other cougars catch on.

And nowadays, young women offer themselves up to older men out of necessity because more and more men in their age group realise that a relationship with a "got-it-more-together-than-the-average older man, are dipping our hands into the sweet young thing pot" women is far more gratifying. Lol... Maybe a bit of a harsh statement. Unless I've been so lucky enough to date the right kind women as far as that department is concerned (well, apart from one then... ). Unless in some cases, spreading their legs easily is a byproduct of that fact that younger women (at least in my experience) are much more controlled by their emotions.

Well, I’m probably the wrong person to ask. I’m a bloody foreigner over here, and due to circumstances, I’ve always been mingling with other bloody foreigners. Even all the gf’s I had here were non-British. From the stories I’ve heard though, it sounds like (generally speaking) the young women over here aren’t really behaving any different as in that small town where your bf lives. Then again, that’s just second hand knowledge for me and not based on any experience. So I’d prefer to be careful with statements like that…

Travelled to the States and I live in the UK. Can say there isn't much difference. Obviously a huge generalisation but a lot of young women over here drink to excess and will jump into bed at the first opportunity.

I can't say I support decisions made under the influence, if someone needs to be drunk to have sex; I just pass on the offer. HOWEVER, if the mind is clear and the body is willing (and of course I feel safe); sometimes the first opportunity might be the only opportunity. I know what I want, and don't worry about being considered slutty or loose.
