True companionship takes ACTION, so your words make little sense to me. Care to elaborate on that?

Well basically, companionship is as simply as a state of being friends. It is a closeness or familiarity, a true fellowship among people who for some reason have connected. Like for example the social networking sites, we meet people and build friends though it has to take miles away. Once that we learn how to know that person deeper, i think companionship becomes deeper in perception. It could be in a romantic type or for a solid friendship. It is merely how a certain person interprets the word. Hehehe.,

Cutesho...this is what draws me back here the most...the bonds formed with both the ladies and gents on this site who have honored me with their friendship. However, when I think of companionship, I think of someone with whom you spend personal in-your-face time....the latter of which is what an older couple enjoys together after being together for a very long time....just an example, mind you. Their experiences shared sort of super glue them together. But there are different kinds of friendships as they say....the ones for the moment, because they are there for a reason....the ones who stay around for a little longer, until their purpose is fulfilled...and then the friends who stay for life time. All have their purpose and are just as important as the other.

These lines are my favorite. This simply reminds me that humans are meant to be sociable, and being sociable requires involving yourself to others. This is i think also what a social networking site implies. You know, not just by names, likes and dislikes, or any other info but the user itself communicating/linking his account to other might be a start of something new, being friends in simplest form. You have a deeper understanding about companionship, for me, as long as i like the personality of the person, knows how to respect, and friendly I will entertain, whatever intention they have its up to them as long as they are harmless. Hehhe,
