When I logged on there were three, idk, chat things open at the bottom of my window. This was IMMEDIATE, so I guess my question is: are they real or what?

Sounds like people are already talking to you, with the given ration of there being more men than women on here, you'll attract more men than bins attract flies, <--- Just watch out for the real insects, the scammers, usually they'll be overly patriotic, live in some far flung place, etc,
