no sense in just waiting silently for someone to stumble across my profile so i might as well put it out there. i'm 19,thin, white male. i am usually shy and reserved, especially around new people and surroundings, but after moving across a few states just to go to college, i like to think i am opening up a bit more. i am in the middle of phoenix arizona and i am hoping to meet someone nice, someone who can take charge a little and get to where i am not so shy around them, cause once you get to know me i am really fun to be around. if you wanna know more about me you can go take a look at my profile.

haha, yeah i have read some of the other threads, you and your friends are pretty straight forward, but honestly i want to spend more time in the real world rather than in the threads, i spend too much time on my computer as it is lol

Welcome ly_pup. It's nice to see someone from the southwest join us.

In answer to your question, you need to get involved and not wait for goodness to come to you, it doesn't happen that way. Join in some threads when you're comfortable so people can get to know you. There are always the blogs on the main site where you're welcome to express your feelings.
