Ok you guys im super stressed, and i know its starting to get to a point where its not healthy. I am really really worried about my future, after this semester i have no where to be, literally not even parents house. Honestly do i have any other options than the military? I still have to send my modeling pics to an agency, and i got just the money to do that. I dont like the feeling or idea that i have no clue what is gonna be next for me. Im stressed!

It is so hard growing up in this day and age. When I see my nieces and nephews and their friends working 2 or 3 jobs and going to school and having 2 3 or 4 roommates it makes me glad I am not young anymore. When I was going to school in the late 70's n early 80's my rent for a 1 bedroom apartment was $305/month and I go upset when they raised it to $315! I was working 3 shifts plus college. Worked a mexican restaurant dinner n lunch shifts and had classes in between then bartended in the evenings, then studied and slept and did the same thing the next day.

It is a hard life but I never had to have a roommate, so I was lucky. I'm not trying to give anyone the "I walked to school in 5 foot of snow story like our grandpas used to give us" but I wonder if pursuing a modeling career when you have nowhere to go and no one to help you out is the way to survive.

You may have to lower yourself and get a job in the restaurant or hospitality or maintenance industries and work on your modeling career on the side.

Learn to take care of yourself and what you accomplish in the future will mean so much more because you earned it on your own.

I don't mean to be a hard a** but I am realistic and I don't think you are, handsome.

Good luck to you.

I completely agree with this. Ryan, you shouldn't be trying to rely on a woman or anyone else to pay your bills for you. And btw, there is NOTHING wrong with getting a roommate or roommates at all. I have had MANY roommates during my life, even had a few after I got divorced and my daughter and I lived with a few different ones. It will relieve a lot of the stress because you have someone else (or maybe a few others) to help with the bills!! If I were you I would go get the first job I can find, look for some people to move in with, and like phxgirl said work on the modeling on the side. For most of us, our dreams do not materialize overnight.

Best of luck to you!

Hey everybody i have decided to serve my country. I will be enlisting in the Army and leaving for bootcamp as soon as possible. My MOS will be (18X) which is a Special Forces enlistment option. It was either Marines or Army for me. I completely understand the risk of danger and death. This is where my heart is at, so finally i have stepped up to the plate. Thank you all for your support.

good luck brother; as long as you're in good shape, spec ops training is mostly a mind-game (though it will still be physically challenging). stay strong, keep your wits about you, you'll do fine.

Default I suppose

the military is a good option for someone in dire straights but they tend to lie to recruits so I think I would have given it a bit more thought. Good luck to you though and take care!

Yep, that is a HUGE understatement as you and I both know houston!!! Lying to recruits is their speciality!! My now ex bf is in the Air Force and wishes he never would have joined and since he signed on for 6 years he has almost 5 more to go!

Be safe Ryan and thank you for serving our country!!
