How long does it take for my pic to post

When I uploaded my pic, there was a message that said all pics need to be approved and it takes 2 days to process. Does it really take 2 days for a pic to be approved?

You're lucky you're not an istock photographer, those guys take a week to review images, and usually half the images are rejected.
Most places like this usually take about a day to review an image, but to get an avatar in the forum you need to upload it here since the forum and the site seem kinda seperated, that image seems to be accepted right away.
