Not sure if I would agree with that (plus looking at the dates it looks like this is one hell of a thread resurrection). While this makes for some great fantasy material, having a girlfriend with a hot mom who is into you is a situation that will play out badly in real life. Even if everyone involved was ok with non-exclusive dating and casual sex, it would most likely really screw with the whole mother-daughter relationship in a very unhealthy way and you don't want to be caught in the middle of that. There may be a few rare exceptions to this, but I wouldn't waste my time trying to seek them out.
