Default Yah or Nah Meeting Cougars at Gym?

I see one or two working out I want to go up to them, but I feel like I would just be getting in their way? And hanging around outside waiting for them to leave bit creepy no?

I wouldn't like to be bothered while working out, but not opposed to the opposite gender approaching me in the gym, while I have all those pheromones and testosterone pumping.

Hanging around outside would definitely be creepy and probably scare her away! haha
Work out beside her - ie on the treadmill next to her - and start up a nice conversation. It will seem natural to talk while working out next to each other like that. Don't push it; have patience. It will take a few visits to the gym and chatting with her for her to be comfortable with you. Then invite her to grab a coffee after one of your workouts. Always be respectful.
Hope this helps.

Whatever way you would try to get to know a gal your age. We are no different! Just start a conversation, lots of smiles. Don't make any moves until about the 4th time you see her. Then see if she wants to grab a coffee as the other poster said (sorry, can't remember the name while writing this).

I think there is a general misconception here that cougars are a "special species." We're not. We're just like real girls! 'Cause we are! I REALLY wouldn't want a young lad tippy-toeing around me, as if I'm some museum piece, to be admired but not held!

I'm personally against picking up men in places that I'm committed to for reasons other than the crowd they may attract...and that list would include the gym. I get my exercise independently now, but when I WAS a gym rat of sorts, I would NEVER use it as a singles bar. What if it didn't work out...like he was creepy and now he knows where you work out and might even know where you live? It would be so awkward for me to go in there and have to avoid him.

Oh...just make a different schedule? Hmmm.... you met because you had the same schedule...do you feel like changing that now? I don't think so. Just my personal opinion, but I don't think it's a good idea. ^..^

This make sense. I didn't think about it like that, but you have convinced me.

What about the supermarket? Now i'm pretty dense, and have a hard time reading when a girl likes me unless they tell me out right, haha. How am I suppose to know when a cougar is being friendly as opposed to "friendly"? I like to do my own shopping for food and usually wonder and read lables and things in the isles you don't normally find men, and the women pass by say "excuse me sweety or honey", which I think nothing of and feel they are just being friendly.

Do you buy wine? Or do you clean and cook? (Warning label: a "YES" is going to get you some hits from here. LOL) Kidding aside, there is nothing cuter than a guy asking for advice on what cleaning product to use, or which mushrooms are best to go with that steak in your basket. Or how do you cook that salmon if you bought cuz it's on sale? Wine is easy...ask her to share it with you sometime and get her number! hehe

Haha, no wine, do not drink. Cooking yes, I love to dabble and try new things. Cleaning don't like it, but gotta have a clean bathroom, but I try to get out the easy way with scrubbing bubble spray, and clorox toilet wands.

I plan on asking for advice now, even if I know. Good way to start up a conversation, and possible meal.
