I genuinely like how a woman ages. Everyone seem to think men are the only ones who get distinguished with age... women too get sexier with age. Life's experiences are painted on her face like a beautiful canvass.

negative...
for some, perhaps...
but for me personally, i've learned that sensuality and sexual appeal is a matter of something which comes from within...
it's an aura that, older women seem to project more so than the younger...
confidence, experience, these are but small aspects of this, though they are the first most would point to...
quite frankly, i prefer a woman to look like a woman...
and this is not always linked to her general physical appearance...
as i said, it's something that's simply projected...
men pick up on this, whether it's subliminal or not...
for younger men, i suspect, it's usually the former...
and being around younger women most of the time they don't realize that, that certain allure is missing until confronted with it.

I have the same problem dating men my age as coug41. I am very youthful for my age. I take care of myself and listen to music that younger people listen to. I have a very young attitude. I find most men my age seem very old to me, not only in looks but in attitude. However, I will date all ages. I do notice that since I've gotten into my late 40's, it's harder to take a guy seriously who's in his 20's. I dated a few 20-something-year-old while I was 43 and 44. The attraction was there and we cared for each other. But where we were at in our lives didn't match up. I now feel I do best with someone about 10 years younger who is also youthful. I just can't imagine a relationship with a 25-year-old could work out for the longterm.

While on the surface, it may seem no difference between dating a woman whose in their 20's and dating a woman in their 40's who looks like they are in their 20's, there is a world of difference between them.

Older women are typically viewed as having more experience, and more comfortable "in their skin" than the younger women.

While I would certainly date an older woman who looks much younger, it isn't a requirement for me to do so.

With that said, in my eyes, long-haired cougars look about 10-15 years younger than their short-haired 'sister's.
