 Maybe you could take a walk one day that requires you to walk past the young man's house either on your way out, or on one's return, gain eye contact, then drop the "I could really do with a hand from a strong guy as yourself" or however you wish to word it.. I wonder if seducing this young man would be worth risking the wrath of his mother who lives so close to you. There's nothing as uncomfortable as going to war with a neighbor.
