the attraction i think is having a woman not some 21 y o girl who doesnt understand the importance of a conversation and only wants to get drunk and party, men (like myself) are interested in women who know what the want out of life and are going for it. a woman who will tell me " hey i want to do...." whatever is so much more attractive than the 20 y.o who ways "Idk", even worse they actually say "i-d-k" instead of "i don't know" were talking dont abbreviate u lazy ass lol

I D K...that just drives me nuts when people say that! I mean, my 14 year old says it all the time but he's 14, and that's ok. For anyone over the age to vote? Come on....I feel a rant about having conversations in text message mode...hurry, stop me!

I would not let my 14 yo say that (if I had a 14 yo). I have a 17 yo and if she (or anyone ELSE) ever said to me "I D K" I would completely ignore everything they said after that and I would tell them when they learn to speak English to come back and talk to me. I think allowing any age teen to talk like that is just encouraging that kind of thing. But we are getting off topic here, so back to topic now!

For me, although again, not chronologically a "cub", I like the idea of the woman in charge. She is wise, assertive, knows what she wants and how to get it. For me it's about attitude. I'd always wished some of my friends mothers and some of my female teachers would have made some use of my body! :-)

Your mileage may vary but that's it for me.

Well, being 14, I just let him express himself the way he chooses to because it's so important that he learn to do that. Believe me, that will NOT be acceptable after the age of 16! I expect coherent words from older teenagers that should have learned how to express themselves

Wow, good luck with that. He should learn to express himself while at the same time showing respect to other people don't you think? And if you think you can allow him to get away with that NOW and then expect him to change in 2 years?! Like I said, good luck with that. He will be one of those guys who does the "text typing" that you hate so much. I'm not trying to diss on you miz, but seriously, think about it. Kids do not "magically change" at the age of 16. If anything, it all gets worse.
