what makes us so attractive?

I'd say the main things i find another wordly kind of attractive is just how much you are yourselves most of the time. Everyone in my generation seems to be hiddeen behind their walls too much, i love being myself and being able to be myself in front of someone who is not only amazingly sexy but just as open as i am is an amazing experience.

I think you might have hit the nail on the head with that one. I for one am always myself which sometimes gets me in trouble and sometimes in much more than that but at least I'm being real.

I'm not sure this quality belongs exclusively to women- cougars. I think as anyone ages they loose the desire to play various roles- maybe they have realized that people see through this most times. Or maybe they just get lazy.

i agree with robthenurse, to me its the conversation and just to sit with someone who knows what they want and no games, thats a big part for me i know what i want but girls my age at least the ones ive met dont seem to understand that. Beauty in older women is something to me as cant be touched by time theres just something in those eyes and personalitly that i click with, just havent had the chance to act most likely there with there husbands or think im too young

The main thing I find attractive about an older women is that I can actually communicate with them and be on the same thinking level as them. I mean yea, its ok to joke around every once in a while, but being immature 24/7... thats NOT me at all. At least older women have "been there and done that" so to speak, so they've learned from past experiences whats good and whats bad in life. It's not like there the type of women to do something bad just for the hell of it cause "it's fun", or some other lame excuse (like drive into a house while high on drugs... and yes, its happened before here).

When I was in college I knew a guy that did that (drove into a house) not once, but TWICE. Of course he was very high at the time. Don't know why he wasn't locked up though.

Anywho, adding to the reasons why I find older women attractive, because to me, their also sexier in appearance. Now I'm not shallow at all, I believe that appearance is ONE major factor in finding someone attractive, and not the ONLY factor... all I'm saying is that if women like Mariska Hargitay, Stephanie March, and Diane Neal (celebrities I know, but its the only examples I can think of) all have me going "WOAH!! She's BEAUTIFUL!!! And I'm totally into her!" more than women my age that I see on the streets almost everyday, I think that's accomplishing something, lol. :-P

The problem with that is the older women are - as you acknowledge - celebrities while the younger women are those you 'see on the street'. Difficult and wrong to compare in my opinion.

Howabout this then... two years ago, when I used to work in a medical billing office, I met a woman that worked the evening shift at the christmas party (I worked the afternoon shift). She was like 7 or 8 years older than me, but we instantly clicked. Didnt even bother me that she had two kids (my last gf was a single mom with a 3 year old, so I was used to it). She was the most beautiful woman I had ever met. We always talked through texting cause it was the only way we could communicate since of different shifts, not to mention she had to take care of her kids, so most of our talking time was at night. Our conversations were always flowing, we could talk about anything. And she even wanted to go on a "date", but everytime we kept planning, things got in the way, until one day she quit the job with no warning, and nobody ever heard from her again =/ it was a sad day for me, lol. She gave me feelings that I never had for any other women my age or a lil younger that I have been with. I think it was the mix of both beauty, brains, experience, communication skills, ect that made me fall head over-heels for her
