Ok, lets face it...
Players exist on these sites...including GoCougar. So I have a story I want to share with everyone. It it a story of a tangled web of deceit woven by one cub, who I shall name Herbert, although that not his real name. Now Herbie is a decent looking, fit young guy from England. He contacted me about two or three months ago and we've chatted on and off ever since, including webcam chats. And, we all know how those can sometimes go. It wasn't any different with Herbie and I.
Now, I'm currently travelling in England and I have met some wonderful fellow cougars here. One, named "B", and I have become close friends relatively quickly. We've done a bit of travelling together and we came to London together to attend the April 15th cougar/cub event in Soho. A few days ago, I was online chatting with Herbie, and he sent me a new picture of himself. I commented on it, out loud, and being the delightful cougar that she is, B came over to look and compliment me on my cougarlusciousness for having landed such a great looking cub. But, to her surprize, and mine, she knew his face, and name and revealed that she too had been online, on webcam, with him, and he too had stood her up on occasion. Hmmmmmm? What to do?
So, she got online, and he immediately said goodbye to me, stating he had to go to work, and then got online with her. We both talked how often he had done that before. So, then she and I began to create the scenario to teach thiw loathario a lesson.
Last night, he got himself invited to B's hotel room. We set up a camera to record this hilarious event and when he arrived, I awaited around the corner, out of sight, until he entered the room. B greeted him wearing a plunging mini dress and "f.**.k me" heels. This was to send him a message that he wouldn't be havin any of that. I had the most low cut blouse on that I own, and I just sat on the bed, looking at him as his face contorted into all kinds of astonished, horrified, bewildered, recognizing expressions...as the light slowly dawned upon him, that the player had been played. After some gentle conversation to assure him that we weren't going to sacrifice him to the goddess of war, I ended the visit with the comment, "You've been cougar'd"
Let this be a warning to all players...never assume you will never be played. And to those of you who would accuse us of being players, treat us well, with respect, and demonstrate trustworthiness, and we will purr like pussycats. You will win our hearts.
