Default How young is too young?

Because I'm 18, a lot of older women tend to avoid me. Not really avoid, but get a little weirded-out, I guess. So, my question is this:

Are there any women that are 25 to maybe 40 that wouldn't mind hanging out with an 18 year old?

I have had flings with some of my ex-girlfriends' moms, but mainly because they were single, frustrated and both of us were drunk. But I want to actually spend time with a woman that wants to hang out because she likes me for whatever reason. What should I do?

8ball, here's my take... I am a pushover for anyone who shows me some respect and interest. Respect is the key word here. I get uncomfortable when a much younger guy tries to "hit" on me the way he would work some girl his own age. I don't want to hear bullsh*t from any guy, let alone a young man without experience. BE YOURSELF. If you find some older woman interesting, ask her about those things that she's into. You have to find out if you have anything in common with her, be a good listener and if she tells you personal things, don't tell others. I would be willing to hang out with any man who did those things, regardless of his age. Good luck to you. ~Sudo

Having a kid is alot of responsiblity. You are responsible for a new life. Its not like raising a potted plant that you add water to, add a little light and stand back and watch it grow. Nope, you watch that belly grow for nine months, then the great day arrives. Now the little one is here. Who will help you to raise the little one? Are you and dad together? Are you two married? What about college for you? Have you dcided that motherhood is the end-all for you? What about more kids? Do you two want more kids.? What about day-care. At 18 or 19, your friends will be going out to party enjoying themselves and asking you to come along. What about those times that you just want some time for yourself? Will you work,? Day you have a prospect for employment? School? You have years and years to contemplate children. Why are thinking about this now so early in your life? Was your mother a teenage mom. Statistics have shown that if your mother had children at a young age, then the chances are greater that her children will repeat that process.

wth are you talking about? As per the topic I will date anyone of legal age as long as I am interested in them. Listen to what Sudo has to say most of us feel the same way... it's the person not the age.

What I meant is, some women I talk to say "You're young enough to be my son!" and then walk away. Even though I met them on a cougar site. It's frustrating... If they don't like my age, then why agree to meet up in the first place, right? That's what I'm talking about...

Default 18

is the legal age of consent in most states in the US but many women prefer to date some one who is at least 21 since that is the legal age for drinking in the US. Oh and 8ball if you were drunk at any time you had sex with your friend's moms I hate to tell you but that is a crime on the woman's part. Serving alcohol to someone under 21 and then having sex with them is big time trouble whether it's an ow/ym or om/yw...

21! Why can they drive but not drink?

21 seems pretty reasonable if not a little disapointing.

Pretty weird isn't it? They can drive at 16, get shot to bits for their country at 18 but need to wait until they're 21 before they're allowed to consume alcohol legally.

16 its 17 here well you can learn to drive at 16 here if you are mentaly deficiant i think it said which is somewhat strange. I don't really understand it beacuse you give them guns and cars which are pretty good at killing people but they can't drink. Is it a law that is followed pretty strictly?
