Default why do cougars prefer 21 year olds over me?

I am 18 years old and have had older say im to young for them i mean 3 years difference and then they want me? Maybe the fact that im a high school senior would make them feel a little bit weirded out or give them more of an taboo feeling? I need input!

I do think that you still being in high school has more to do with it than your age.
I can't say for sure though because I have never met you in person. It might be something else and they are making excuses.

I'm sure you are. Is your username the same as on GC? I'd like to take a peek at your profile

I'm not a cougar of course, but I am going to guess....Dating a 21 year old would be less restrictive than dating an 18 year old. If they want to take a cub out for a drink, or something along those lines that may involve a situation in which an 18 year old isn't legally allowed to participate, they may be a bit dismayed, and hence would prefer to date someone who is legally able to participate in all instances that my come along.

Also, you are in high school. While cougars do seem to want younger men, are cougars really going to want to discuss high school? Prom? That would seem to fall somewhere in a "robbing the cradle" type of scenario, and if I were a cougar, I would be turned off by it.

Just a few thoughts, I could be completely wrong.

Yeah. I would definitely say that the drinking age is part of it, but also that you're not fully independent yet. Any cougar I've met is looking for a younger guy who doesn't still live at home and is either going to college and close to graduating or working hard at a career and has his own place and car.

Default Shakespeare's sonet #233

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;

sonet the best

Also its a mental thing, so to speak.
18 just sounds so young, still a kid really, but 21 you are an adult.
Im not saying this is correct to be thinking, but thats my theory
