I met a guy (not on this site) a year ago and we 'hooked up' after an evening out and we both had a great time. Sure I would like something more but you never know what's going to happen on your date.

Nope no hook-up, NSA or 1 nighters for me. NEVER ever had one (as of yet). Not saying it will never happen, but I highly doubt it. Hey you never know, so NEVER say NEVER, but I can honestly say probably not, lol.

I do not have a problem with that as long as it is worth it, and clearly discussed from the very first beginning.
Do not tell me you are interested in a long term relationship and you like me a lots only to get giggy with it! No, no, no.

Every person is different, if you are single and like focusing on nobody else but yourself and find it easy to not get emotionally attached, then hookups are great. A life full of nothing but lots of hookups wont lead to anything good unfortunately.
