Think you've only paid for the road x amount of time's threw gas , tag's & license plate's and what not. Well it's official washington law maker's are kicking around the idea to bring you get this.

"The Driving by the Mile" Tax.

I, know this doesn't have to do with attracting older woman. But I, believe we should not have to pay for the same public road's. We use twice. As well as I, am bringing this to our fellow american's attention.

This could put a dent in some american's dating plan's.

Yes, Taxes pay for the roads.
Petrolium Taxes right now is the fair way to tax people evenly for the amount of use.
But, if you plug in your electric car every night you are not paying to support the roads you are using.
They are looking at alternative ways of keeping a revinue stream going.
And just a FYI, CNN is only one source of news, get about 4 other opinions.

Why wouldn't they add this. Washington has only given away billion's upon billion's of your tax dollar's. Another reason to impose a new tax incentive. There so damm broke they can't even keep the capital running with out raising the deficit $14 trillion + in debt. Yet we can't take care of are own infastructure. They constantly cry there running out of money just to cover social security. So why more taxes ?..

Let's get this straight I, drink socially and not to get drunk and on top of that my friend's at the gym whether if they drink or not is up to them. Although we do not drink together. As for the 10 second comment that's why I, read the internet news it's more then 10 second's.

1. Petrol Tax pay's for the road - I, already know that.

2. Public Road's that have already been paid for before. Yet your paying for them again you midest turn every road into a toll road.

3. Are you going to pay $150,000 + or so for a brand new electric car ?.

4. Hybrid Vechile's. Sure they run on electric they still require " petrol " to recharge the battery to run and your paying 2x for road tax's yet again.

5. Not every vechile can run on electric. Example : Trucker's driving 18 wheeler's or less. Food to market run's. Sure the tax may not be so high on 18 wheeler's but it will be on 12 wheeler's. Sooner or later it add's up to one expensive bill.

6. The price by fuel in which you pay now is driven up by Corperate , Goverment & wall street speculation pirate's. Do you think it will cost alot less to get your juice to run your vechile from a power plant ?.

7. The cost I, believe is $10,000 + just to install that charge plug for that new electric vechile in your garage. It could be higher from last I, checked.

8. Simple Economic's - When Fuel goes up so does every one else. Do you believe the cost of Electrical will be any diffrent ?.

9. I'm sure there looking for alternative way's to get " revenue ". How would you like to be charged mam. Mastercard , Visa or the American People. They sure like to use the people like No max credit card.

10. Too big to fail is a Myth. Unless your in buisness for yourself like I, am you can only spend as much capital as you possibly can take in. Unless of course your the Federal Goverment and there is no end to your spending limit. Although FYI they don't understand that.

I am glad that you did look up the fact that they are looking at this as an alternative way of gaining usage taxes for electric vehicles.
However, we all know that how a law or regulation starts out is not how it usually finishes.
