Are fake pics acceptable if the person doesn't tell you they are of someone else?

phxgirl, to me they are NEVER ever acceptable, especially when the person who is using someone else picture doesn't not tell you. Even if they did tell tell you, what would make that acceptable? To me it would make me wonder why in the 1st place did they use someone elses pictures & what are they hiding or trying to hide. Then it would be what else is real or not about them?

Ive noticed alot of fake pix when using the rate feature. Normally I report the profile since chances are, its fraud.

i hate to think the person i have been chatting with and thinks looks like the pics i have seen is somebody completely different

If you're at that point Jypzee, then it's time for a webcam date or block and delete. No excuses! Save yourself and do it NOW. He's got something to hide or is a scammer if he can't come on webcam for you to see him. Even if he's in a rural area with dial up, webcams still work and they are cheap, cheap, cheap.

Do not fall for any excuses! Listen to the voice of experience.

There are a couple of guys who sent me emails and their pics looked like they came straight out of a magazine. The pose, the backdrops, and the hunkiness of a male model. Unbelievable. ha

And then sometimes scammers use fake pics (lifted from other dating profiles) that look totally normal and plausible. You just can't tell by the picture alone.
