I admit that I grew up with film cameras and unless you had a very close friend who would develop the prints in privare you never wanted to take any sexy pictures. Well times have changed and it seems strange that so many young people think nothing of taking erotic photographs and sending them to friends.
So the question is, have you ever taken sexy pictures of yourself alone or with friends?
Have you ever found pictures of someone you know that shocked you?
What would you do if you saw your pictures out on the internet?

Thank god there were Polaroid cameras for instant pictures.
When I was young I had a boy friend in the military and one time when he was home on a leave he took about 12 pictures of me.
We broke up a short time later and I had more young men writing me letters than I could ever answer. LOL
I stumbled upon some pictures my son took of himself and his girlfriend which were an eyeopener, shocking? I guess at first but I think I handled it well.

well nowadays the 'normal' level of exposure is nothing like it was years ago.
girls taking pics of themselves in just a tiny bra and panties is no biggie. at least to me it isn't. my daughter is 21, in college, and like her mom, pretty flirty. I've seen some racy pics of her that she has on her computer and FB. I used to get pretty nervous about it but ever since I started modeling myself, the whole 'expressing oneself' type of pics don't bother me anymore. I've got some pretty revealing pics of myself that I've taken and had taken of me over the past year and don't really have too much of a problem of them getting into the wrong hands. guess I'm just immune to being scared on the internet. I've been able to handle myself and keep safe with personal info and such so having some pics get out isn't worrisome to me.

I have two daughters both of them are now over 21 but I first came across pictutes of my youngest daughter that she had taken when she was 16 and sent to her boy friend.
It was very difficult for me to understand why she and all of her friends thought nothing of the future impact the pictures would have and also the fact that even sending the pictures to her friends was illegal.
I am proud of my body also and I try very hard to keep in shape.
Photography is one way I can see those results and I enjoy showing off sometimes.
But we do have to help the younger generation understand some of the limits.
As with anything we learn and teach we have to understand first.

Has anyone here ever heard of Sam Haskins?
When I was young I posed nude for him in his black and white film studies back in the early 60's.
He was an artist, his work was beautiful as well as erotic for the time.
I cherish those prints I still have and only wish I had saved more of his work.
The nude pictures of me are out there and I am very, very proud of them.

he did beautiful work.
How old were you when you first posed nude if I may ask such a question.
I think "Art" differs greatly from "Porn".
But the truth sets in the eyes of the beholder.
And.
Are you the lady I met at the Ed conference in SF fall of 2010?

I was in his Greek Goddess series, the bow and arrow, throwing a javlin and playing the lyre. Talking about age now is so much different than it was back then.
Did you know that Brooke Shields posed full nude at 10 and did full nude scenes in the movie Pretty Baby when she was 12? Today everyone would be in jail if they did that.
My first job as a model was when I was 13.

I am fully against "Kiddy Porn" where children are used and exploited.
But to throw a 17 year old boy in jail because his 16 year old GF sent him a picture is terribly wrong.
I think we have all lost something called "Common Sense".

I hadn't heard of Sam Haskins, thanks for the reference. I love photography, especially figurative and nude. Sounds like Haskins made an important contribution in that field. How nice that you got to pose for him!

OK, I do have to post something here.
Maria sent me one of her pictures taken by Sam Haskins.
Maria was and still is beautiful.
In the picture you know she is nude, yet you really see nothing but your mind sees everything.
Now I only wish I had pictures like that of myself at that age.
