What do you want?

I read several blog posts tonight about minimal or one-time activity on this site and I agree that someone needs to stir the pot. Might as well be me. I'm new..it won't be as painful if I get into trouble.

What would you like to see here on the forums? We all want more activity so what are some good ways to hold a person's interest? I posted in some ideas in suggestions and feedback and now I'd like to see some ideas from you.

I'd say see if you can find some common interests (besides sex) a woman likes a man with a sense of humor and one that is interested in what she has to say. You will hold her attention if you treat her with respect and dignity.

I'm not really into playing forum games, although that doesn't mean I am running down those who like them...they're just not my thing. But what I do like is when there are threads on real and current issues and topics relating to the world and society around us, and people get to express their considered opinions, because that gives us all a chance to get to know the real person. Doesn't really matter what the topic is; politics, religion, sex, environment, lifestyle, sport...as long as everyone engages in a positive and dynamic way, it's all good.

I agree that in the end for a forum to work, it has to cover more topics than just those relating to dating and inevitably some topics would be controversial - politics, religion current affairs. as long as everyone accepts others can have different opinions its perfectly possible to include those without WW111 breaking out !
