Seven new pairs of shoes and a Clinque special at Dillards. I'm having toe surgery tomorrow so I needed something to look forward to!

Oh, what a day to ask. I had my choice at work today between a double chocolate muffin or an apple crumb top muffin. I went with the healthy apple one and 5 cups of coffee to help. This took an hour to accomplish while working and I smiled all the while!

I saw a man run into the middle of a busy London street to hold up the traffic because a duck and her ducklings decided to take a wander to the other side.

Everyone was beeping their horns at first but when they saw why he was doing it everyone was laughing and smiling! Pleased to report that after some skillful duck shepherding the whole family made it to the other side in one piece!

Made my day!

Taking a personal day off of work and going to the movies and out to lunch with my best friend......Sometimes I just need a "mental health day" from work and it makes all the difference.

Hearing my best friend Jen in the next room with her man friend.
I was on the deck and Jen was just having a wonderful time while I was in the other room.
I would love to go into details but the censors would kick in.
anyway, it made me smile, knowing my best friend was having a wonderful time....
