Cougar or not a cougar?

I feel as if I connect better with older women, whether it is the conversation being better, maturity level, attractiveness or knowing what they want in life. But gosh it is hard to spot a mature woman who may or may not be interested in someone who's in their late 20's. I have dated older women but besides the internet, i've found it difficult to I guess "spot" a cougar. What i'm really saying here is, when's it appropriate to approach a mature woman? I know the easy answer is "just try and see what happens etc.." but i've found that many are married (even when they don't have a ring on) and well some women have looked at me weird. Who is the "cougar/interested mature women"?

I would have to say just keep trying, all older women are flattered by younger men, but some do not want to do anything with it. The one that is interested in you will leave clues. Happy hunting.

Ever thought of going to a cougar/cub social event in your area? I live in the NY metro area so they have these now and again. I did a web search and found out about it but never went b/c things got serious with my current younger man. I have a friend who has gone to some and said it was fun. That way you would definitely know these women were interested in younger men....
