I posted on the blogs, or should I say I lamented on the blogs how newbies use the blogs to introduce themselves and look for dates. I got an answer that I think is quite possibly the best idea I have heard.

It is from Violet, and I am going to quote her here....."I think it's probably not apparent to a newbie that s/he shouldn't post an intro here. The 3rd link at the top of the page is "blogs" - they visit and there is nothing on that page about suggestions for posting. Perhaps just a short note at the top of the blog page suggesting that intros should go on the forums would help. Or it could be a popup with info for first time visitors to the blog page with a check box saying don't show this message again." THANK YOU Violet!


Does anyone else have any ideas, and Admin are you reading this? I hope so, because it may alleviate a ongoing problem.

Livvy, GREAT idea you & Violet have. Why not send the above post straight to admin, as you can e-mail them. I hope that idea if it came to be would alleviate all the hi I'm new here posts on the main side & direct all the newbies to this side the forums.
