Hello,

Let me introduce myself, my name is Steve, I’m a researcher working on a brand new magazine show for ITV2 in the UK.

GoCougar have granted me permission to start this thread. Our show is covering various intriguing stories and we are hugely interested in covering a story about Cougars, Pumas or Cubs in the UK.

I think it would be a way more interesting show if you use it to tell the real story about age gap relationships - that they are a perfectly natural and healthy development arising from the increased longevity, health and economic independence of women as opposed to the story told so many times before of sex crazed mature women chasing after young guys.

I'm completely lost - this thread seems to appear twice?? one with my comments one without where do you want postings to be made to?

The show will tell your story, so we are looking for someone like yourself to come on and tell us the reality of why a cougar relationship does work – mentioning all the reasons you have stated.

It's an interesting concept....there are definitely different angles that can be discussed, but it depends on how the women are to be portrayed as to whether they will want to become involved in a program like this, it depends what spin is put on it.....

Steve, some of us ladies are just hard-wired into younger men. As most of the media talks about us older ladies liking younger men & only wanting sex & hunting them, not once do you really here about us & wanting a real relationship with them. We are not hunters @ all. Just older women liking/wanting younger men in our lives. You don't hear or read a label put on older men who are with younger women.

I believe it would make great viewing if we could find stories that challenge public pre-conceptions. We are looking for cougars to explain why they go for younger men and to explain how an age gap relationship can work. Hopefully we'll educate the narrow minded!

We'd love to get in touch with ladies like yourself who are looking for or in a real relationship. You're right it does seem to be more acceptable for older men to date younger women, hopefully we can help change things!

Are you looking for only people from the UK? There's multiple women on this site from usa that are very intelligent and have a lot to say on the matter... you might want to contact them as they would be a huge help in your show...

Yes we are looking for people from the Uk. However it doesn't mean that I'm not interested in what people from other countries think, so please post away. But ultimately we are looking for a UK lady and gent to come on the show.
