seasonal music brings heartache

With Christmas upon us, the radio, read that Sirrus- is playing all the holiday favorites. Very prominent among those is Luciano Pavoroti singing all our old holiday favorites. and I just melt every time I hear his wonderful voice- I can't believe it is stilled forever and we are left with his recordings- just like Caruso. I feel if he were here I'd probably throw myself at him shamelessly just to hear that wonderful tenor voice say "not now my dear" and I'd join those legions of rejected women forever in awe. I know this is stupid, but I can't help myself.

He was an amazing singer and thank goodness we have his music legendary to remember him by.

Do you remember the movie that he made about coming to America and falling in love with Pam ela. her name was Pamela, but he pronounced it Pam ela He sang in the movie and yes he was a amazing man with an amazing voice.
