Default Cougar book Club.

Just wanted to find out a bit more about everyone here. So what are you reading? Or what is the last book you read?

The last book i read was called Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. i finished it about a month ago.

Are there any titles that everyone here should read?

If you liked "Atlas Shrugged" (which you didn't say ) you might want to read "The Fountainhead" by Rand, as well. Along the same lines "Starship Troopers" by Robert Heinlein (nothing like the movie), and "Naked Empire" by Terry Goodkind, are also thought provoking reads.

Forgot to answer the first part of the OPs post. I am currently reading (depending on my mood) "Run less, run faster", "Science of Discworld" by Terry Pratchett, "Overloading Australia" and the "Ship who won" by Anne McCaffrey. Recently finished re-reading the "Anita Blake - Vampire Hunter" series.

I mostly enjoyed Atlas Shrugged. I skipped through some parts at the end, like the 1,000,000 word radio speech, but apart from that i liked it.

the next book i read will probably be something a lot easier to get through. Probably an adventure tale, but i will try to stick to something classic, as opposed to a best seller.

I'm reading Gomorra by Roberto Saviano: here's a link to a book review http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/25/bo...Donadio-t.html

I'm really impressed that you're reading classic books, cazujay.
I'm re-reading one of my favorite classic writers, F.Scott Fitzgerald, specifically, The Great Gatsby. It's being made into a movie for about the third time. The new movie stars Leonardo de Caprio as Gatsby--perfect casting.
