Yes I do.
Take the case of the two men that Raped a mother and her two young daughters then burned them alive in thier beds.
The Husband was supposed to die in the fire also and the two men were caught with no doubt they did it.
Now lets look at this.
They will be in an air-conditioned jail cell with a TV and excercise equipment and computer available to them. They get three meals a day and all of their laundry, medical, and dental care provided free of charge.
The Taxpayer is paying an average of $85,000.00 per year for each of them to keep them there.
They get free legal services and can spend 100% of thier time filing apeals on some technicality such as the arresting officer had bad breath and they were offended.
They have unlimited legal account set up by the state and some appeals have been known to cost the taxpayers and additionl $250,000.00 per year so a Lawyer can get rich and fat.
I would be gald to donate two bullets free of charge.

And with anything of this we do not solve anything!

Yes, I do.
Some times there is no solution for certain individuals. There are some horrible cases that are fueled by self center-ness and totally detachment to humanity.
With the death penalty certainly we can not fix anything, but with this but we can always set an example and send a strong message to others that this type of behavior will not and can not be tolerated.
It should not be used as an "Eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth" rule of thumb, but to set an example to others... I think.

For heinous crimes I believe there should be a death penalty, and not be able to sit on death row for years, and have appeal after appeal entered. May justice swift and to the point

I do agree that it should never be "An Eye for an Eye, a Tooth for a Tooth".
But we should have a good strong death penalty in place.
And we need a good foolproof way to make sure we are right.
I would donate the gun to hold Sams two bullets.
But I would not pay for the gas to burn them alive.
Well, maybe not......

No. Killing is wrong. Period.
Only one nation in the western world (the US) still uses the death penalty, putting it in the company of nations such as China, Iran, ****stan and Saudi Arabia.
Also, the death penalty in the US is racially biased.

Perhaps, but what about the middle eastern countries that have execution of beheading, etc? The may be no law in place in other countries, but they do deal with criminals in much harsher ways that we do.
