Default Favorite Lunch at Home

I'm off work today and was scrounging around for something to eat. Since I'm usually at work and my daughter is at school I don't really keep food in the house for lunch stuff. Anyway, I ended up making a PB&J sandwich on toast, which was really good, because the toast kind of melts the PB (YUM!). And an ice cold glass of chocolate milk, made with Hershey's syrup, not that powdered stuff that never dissolves in the milk. It was really pretty good! And, I think I hear the gym calling me now, haha!!

So what are some of you guys favorite lunches that you make at home?

Actually, PB and J is one of the things I make alot of. If I feel like cooking I normally just make a fried egg sandwich on toast.

Not sure if it qualifies, but my favorite food that I would make here, would have to be one of the frozen pizza's from Walmart. Say what you will about walmart but they have these things called a Ultimeat Pizza, IT'S GOT STEAK ON IT! Hands down favorite non fast food/restaurant.

A grilled cheese Sandwich made with either mozzarella or cheddar cheese, and a large nice cold glass of milk is my favorite

Baked chicken sliced up over spring mix lettuce with sliced strawberries and feta cheese. Oh, and top it off with Maple Grove Farms fat free raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing. I do eat whole grain toast with pb for breakfast with scrambled egg whites but, I despise pb&j always have.

Never...but since I'm a peanut butter fan, I would probably love it! My at-home lunches are usually more like brunch. None of that egg white stuff for me....I love the yolks! I make a killer omelet. I beat 3 eggs together with a couple tablespoons of Ken's Ranch Dressing. I'll add fresh chives if I have them on hand, or just some dill. You gotta heat the pan a bit before adding the olive oil. Then just throw in your egg mixture and let it cook a bit on a low flame. When the edges look cooked, you can add cheese or whatever you like. I like sharp cheddar and spinach! Sometimes a little feta. Making an omelet is easier if you have a good teflon pan that you only use for eggs, AND a huge spatula. Now you wanna fold that omelet in half. Don't think too much...just do it. hehe Now turn the heat off and cover while you make your toast, if you want that too. I like my omelet sprinkled liberally with hot sauce (like Tapatio)...once you had Mexican, you never go back! LOL

If you have one, Publix sells like fresh Peanut Butter they make themselves, so there's no extra junk in it, just the peanuts. I think they sell it in the bakery or maybe the deli, I don't know. It's pretty good though, not as sweet as the normal stuff but meh.

Fresh Yellowfin tuna with a little bit of Wasabi.
Tuna is sliced real thin and you can eat it with most anything, crackers or bread.
Nice light lunch that is good for you.
Ya, I love Peanut Butter too...
